Another big thing that became available to consumers this week was the new Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM.
As with the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 IS II USM the new 300mm F2.8 weighs less, is slightly smaller and is as least as sharp, maybe even sharper than before according to the MTF charts.
