It’s a bold headline but it’s probably more true than you might think.
Chances are you already know it’s there, heck you probably even configured the AF-ON button to something else than its true function. Everyone knows along with light, composition is key to a great photo and the AF-ON is THE function for a quick recompose. By using the AF-ON as autofocus and the shutter button as shutter function only you can quickly focus and change composition without resorting to manual focus switch and with a chance of the subject long gone.
