I’m often being asked which telephoto lens I would use on a walk around everyday basis. A solid bet would be the good Canon EF 70-300MM F/4-5.6 IS USM which features a quick USM focus engine, a solid image stabilization while still being compact enough to fit almost any bag.

In case you’re looking for one of these I learned B&H Photo sells these with a hefty 150$ discount (ends June 18/11).
One thing is certain. It’s a great time to buy a new telephoto lens.

You’ll find the lens with the discount HERE
