Thank you so much for looking. I&#039;ll appreciate the kind words.
I did use the autofocus a number of times and I found it pretty snappy - I agree with the dept both in color as well as field. A great overall pocket camera.

I have just picked one up, to replace my antique Rollei 35, which I have found to be the only camera I was taking with me anymore. The depth of the Ricoh GRD iv amazes me.

I find it interesting that you used only the full manual mode. I&#039;ve only had a few days to experiment, but manual focus seems to me not the GRD&#039;s strongest suit, while the auto focus seems extremely good. On the other hand, I have yet to try the camera on a tripod, and even wide-open it has an impressive depth of field.]]></description>
