<p>Up until a few years ago you would be hard-pressed to believe you could actually use a 800mm F5.6 lens for any type of action and behavior photography let alone bird photography.<span id="more-4661"></span> But along came superb gimbal heads (eg. Wimberley, Jobu Design) and the lightweight (for a 800mm lens) Canon EF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM and a lot or users switched their old generation 500 or 600mm F/4 for the longer 800. And what a lens this is, super fast focusing and super sharp.<br />
In this article Photographer Ofer Levy shares his tips and trick that&#8217;ll hopefully enable you to capture as amazing shots as Ofer does. Or at least a step of the way.</p>

Bahl takes oppon of the biggest subject in photography, do you compose or crop to a great image. In my mind there&#8217;s no doubt the best thing would to get the image and the composition just right the first time although this is, especially with in type of moving subject highly difficult. Sure the latest +30 Mpix camera&#8217;s allow for a great a deal of cropping but is this solution?</p>
