Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 : Winner stripped of award

Evidently it had to happen. The previous mentioned winner photographer (read about it HERE ) who was under the investigation of using a trained wolf has been stripped of the prestigious award.

Jose Luis Rodriguez who initially won and who entered with the “too good to be true photo” is also banned for life for ever entering the competition again.
A group of experts had no doubts. The wolf was exactly the same wolf as one living in Canada Real, a zoological park near Madrid.
