The new Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 IS II USM features, besides the new 800mm L soft edges look, a entirely new design weighing in just 3.9 KG far less than the previous version. Another and a least as an important thing is the lens sharpness which according to the MFT chart´s is even sharper than before.
